February 27, 2017 - From a magnum. Breathed for an hour. Nose has grilled nut, ripe yellow fruit, mango, caramel and minerals. Palate is upfront, rich, concentrated and ripe. Drinking at peak in magnum format.

January 24, 2016 - From an OK looking bottle with a 3 cm fill, this wine had a gold center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose showed creme brulee, vanilla, soil, and some lemon.

In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe with good, rounded acidity and good length. It had a nice creamy texture but not a ton of complexity.

While this bottle was clear starting to head downhill, it was still quite enjoyable. Other bottles may have had better storage. However, I am fairly convinced this wine should be drunk ASAP. In addition, this wine still benefited from a couple hours of air.

March 25, 2012 - Some cork damage, but pulled OK; gold but not overly deep; wet leather, stone mineralty and chalk on the nose; long finish with hints of grapefruit pith and bitter seed with some tartness, acidity and tannin. There was one dissenting voice, which found this Montrachet well past it's prime with a watery, not overly distinguished finish (84+ max).

May 25, 2007 - Cellar Chilling Bash Opening Night (Crabtree's Kittle House): Nose of nuts - hazelnuts, almonds. On the palate, there's a bit of acidity, and a bright, lemon meringue thing going on. Drinking really well. Very nice.
