April 26, 2018 - I’ve never been a fan of barbera but this is probably the best one I’ve ever had. High acidity, good tannins, great balance and fairly complex. A very slightly bitterness in the aftertaste, though.

April 12, 2017 - Lots to like here: plenty of red fruit: sour cherries, redcurrant & musky spice on the nose. The palate is both light and smooth, with slightly drying tannins. There is a 'bracing' acidity here (aka a polite way of saying it's pretty obvious), but that went well with a rich spaghetti bolognese.

June 19, 2016 - Needs a little more time to shake things off a little. Deep, dark and long with the acidity well in balance. Just needs to settle down a little. Very good value.

April 15, 2016 - Excellent barbera. Classic acidity. Wonderful balance.

October 22, 2015 - Restaurant wine list for $35, so worth a shot. Sadly it's hot, over rich, and had me looking for a place to nap half way through my second glass. I was especially distracted by the creamy overtones. This resembled a milkshake more than a Barnera.
