May 20, 2023 - Getting through some of my older Voyager Chardonnay. My view is that these wines come into their excellent range at 10 years. Keeping it in your cellar for 10 years is the trick. Still fresh fruit. The honey oak is well developed. Some pear and flinty freshness. Last another 10 years. Went great with Japanese take away Sushi and Sashimi from Suzaran in Camberwell Melbourne.

April 19, 2023 - A typical older Voyager Chardonnay. Light yellow colour for a now 11 year old Chardonnay. Honey and oak nose. High lemon acidic mineral taste.This wine was given 96 points by J Halliday and a 2022 peak. Still has many years left. I'm saying good for another 10!

July 30, 2018 - Ageing gracefully. Sweet vanilla oak matched to biscuits, citrus butter on the nose. Softer and rounder palate, more approachable on the front palate, but there is a dip in the mid palate and a sting of acidity on the close (which doesn’t seem to be going anywhere). Lees work, citrus/grapefruit and cashew flavours.
