February 20, 2022 - I liked this wine better younger. Very Very Ripe Fruit on the nose bordering on dried. Almost Pruney on the palette. A bit like an Amarone but not really. Smooth finish but short lived. I have a few left. I thought it had more longevity. Should drink soon.

December 28, 2021 - Flavors fighting and intense. Not well integrated.

July 18, 2019 - Plum, tobacco, smooth tannins. Quick finish. Good not great.

December 17, 2017 - Not a big fan of Sangiovese and this is an odd blend with Cabernet/Barbera.

August 12, 2015 - A wonderful red. Really, quite impressive from start to finish. Did not expect such a bouquet from an AZ wine. It isn't produced in the Amorone style, but there seems to be a strong hint of raisin on the nose. The palette offers balanced tannins and good fruit. Just a well structured wine that performs beautifully with food. We had pork loin and broccoli and thought the paring was spot on.
