March 25, 2015 - I don't normally drink sweet or semi-sweet reds but after a visit to the tasting room we brought a bottle of this home. The semi-sweet Merlot started with nice oak on the nose and nice oak and sweet taste. It was nicely balanced off with good tannin structure. A great accomplishment getting the perfect balance of oak, sweet, fruit, and tannin.
