  October 7, 2019 - Mouthful of dusty drying tannin, bit too much wood, redeemed to a large extent by the concentration of black fruits and cassis, some mint. Difficult to score, not in balance but peering through the dust I liked the flavour profile well enough with lamb backstrap this evening.

  September 10, 2019 - While we still miss the limited release “Coonawarra” from Hollick and Tannery Block is not at the same level. However we enjoyed this wine tonight.

Very young palate, with tightly-packed tannin and dense, closed notes of dark fruit and oak (typical Coonawarra). I guessed that this was a 2015. So tightly closed that it's hard to assess, but perhaps the fact that this still looks so young means that it will be long-lived.
