June 25, 2021 - Dark pinot fruit aromas with a measured amount of the typical Cameron funk coming through- lovely and exactly what I expect from this wine. medium-bodied and balanced, with dark berry fruit, peppery spice and earth. Long finish. Excellent. (G&R)

October 7, 2017 - Good fruit (mostly red) and acidity. Drinking well, though I think it will benefit from additional age.

January 4, 2017 - VEERRYY funky upon opening, really dirty and a little medicinal too. Beautiful if not a little darker than usual color though.Palette wise a bit overshadowed early on but the fruit was in there, just had to wait. Great acidity and a bit of tannins. After a 4.5 hour decant it really calmed down to reveal some coffee bean on the nose and a palette full of dark red fruits. Maybe could have waited a few more years, oh well.

August 6, 2016 - Oregon Notes.; 8/5/2016-8/26/2016: Geek wine alert. Imagine if Lopez de Heredia made Oregon pinot....this would be it. Sweet and sour red cherry. Funky nose. Mid is bright refreshing and begging you to take another sip. Love this style!

February 16, 2015 - Back in the Willamette; 2/15/2015-2/20/2015 (Willamette Valley): I didn't take great notes on this wine. Drank it next to the Colgin Syrah which was much bolder and overshadowed it a bit for me. Still - very nice Willamette Pinot, more in the bright red fruits, remember thinking it got better through the night and perhaps could have used a bit more time in glass or in bottle.
