February 6, 2024 - Raspberry and plum on the nose. On the palate, plum, black cherry, raspberry, and notes of tapenade, black pepper, and savory spices, with moderate tannins on the medium to long finish, with good acidity. The Cellartracker drinking window on this is too short; it is well into maturity, but not past it, although looking at other tasting notes there's a lot of bottle variation. This threw some sediment, so decanting may be in order. This was an excellent value at about $40.

October 14, 2023 - The Mourvedere is very noticeable in the cuvee - and I like that. Other than that a Grenache-driven Gigondas that is now definitely reaching its peak: ripe plums, some pepper, dark chocolate, oriental spices and herbal notes. Long finish. Unfiltered as always, be careful when decanting.

February 27, 2022 - Wine-Ark lunch (McLeay Street Bistro, Potts Point): Jammy red berry - baked red fruits, a little sweet spice, gets more garrigue and meaty with time. Sweetly fruited, softly textured but the fruit is a little dried out and it's a bit tired for me.

    December 8, 2021 - Badly corked

November 16, 2019 - Well, purple and 5 to ten years from maturity. Only giving hints of its potential. 5/12/18/10. 2025-2035+ in a cool cellar.
