April 4, 2021 - Wine is bright and light with a brickish teinte, nice tears rolling down the burgundy style glass.
The nose is tertiary with dried leaves, tea, smoky, asphalt and maybe some violets. On the palate next to tertiary flavors still red fruits, a bit blackberry and a raisiny note. Good acidity and the tannines are still there and offer some grip but without being to hard to chew on.
fairly long finish where some oak influences show.
Overall a nice wine where patience paid off and offers an aged wine with all the textbook characteristics. It is time to drink this one the next 1 / 2 years.
