August 9, 2018 - had this at a blind tasting. I really did not like this wine at first since i found it to be way too one dimensional and oaky at the get go. After letting it sit in a decanter for an hour, when I came back to the wine i was presently surprised as the oak became more integrated, the age showed better, and there was more complexity with more non-fruit notes which allowed me to easily guess that this wine was a New world Syrah.
