December 1, 2023 - Totally agree with RiddlingRack. At peak. Very long, sappy finish with forest floor and sour cherry. Just lovely. There is a little bit of flint or something on the nose. It's a beautiful wine.

October 20, 2023 - In its peak. Forest floor, red fruits. Smooth with great acid. long, sour cherry finish.

August 2, 2023 - Not sure what was wrong with this Pinot Noir, was drinkable, no TCA, just weirdly strong eucalyptus, licorices, and band-aid !!
The cork was perfect after over a decade in the bottle. I consumed over two days hoping it would fix itself, it didn't. Deep ruby color with little to no oxidation, clarity good. Secondary aromas of pomegranate and rose hips, flavors of red fruit compote and rhubarb with medium finish. This wine improved slightly overnight. Fruit from the Coastlands Vineyard in the Sonoma Coast appellation of Sonoma County. Winemaking by Russ Cobb. This Pinot Noir has always been age worthy. I have one more bottle of this vintage remaining in my cellar, I hope it is not flawed as well.
