November 12, 2015 - Agree with previous comment. This drinks more like a Gamay than a CA zin. Light bodied, low/moderate alcohol, restrained. Nice fruity nose - some candied red fruits, a touch of vanillin, a little bit of orange peel.

November 1, 2014 - More like a gamay than zin; lighter, crisp, moderate tannins and balanced fruit--really not at all like a typical jammy, peppery california zin--but as a result, a much easier drinking one.
