June 28, 2021 - Tame nose, not very expressive; just a tad medicinal, Candied cherry fruit, orange peel, some underbrush as if this would have some whole cluster fermentation; medium to full bodied the finish is long with some tannins and heat lingering stimulating the gums. At 2 hrs of opening this was smooth and tannins resolved as well as the heat gone. Classy big pinot. Tasty.

February 6, 2021 - Similar to prior bottle - - this wine is still going strong and has many years left. Price point is lower than other Beaux Freres bottlings, which is also a nice feature. Dark candied fruit notes were most notable in this bottle.

March 22, 2020 - Somewhat cloudy dark ruby color. Candied dark red fruit notes on nose and palate. Fuller-bodied, for a Pinot. Drinking well now but should age for many more years. 92-93

July 7, 2019 - Popped and poured. Not a lot of nose. Palate is very floral with strawberry and very subtle lilac. Quite nice. This is a delicate wine and can be overpowered with the wrong foods. Should drink well for 5+ years

February 10, 2019 - Agree with the earlier note. Nice fruit. Drinking nicely now. I see little benefit to more aging.
