February 20, 2024 - Wow! Impressive overall though this vintage may be peaking. Not quite as much fruit as the last bottle a couple of years ago but made up for with elegance, mushroom, forest, herbs and all the good stuff that PN is known for, esp. Burgundies.

October 12, 2021 - Wow! I thought it might be past its prime but was I wrong. This is superb; more like a CA or Oregon PN than FLX. I think the hot 2012 vintage has something to do with that. Smooth, full bodied with lots of fruit and mushroom notes on both nose and palate. Very little barnyard so not quite a Burgundy but excellent in every respect. Should go several more years.

April 5, 2021 - Beautiful wine, elegant, light ruby in the glass, bright cherry and red fruit, toasted bread, a little cigar box and mushroom/funk.

September 1, 2019 - Developing nicely. Will go awhile yet. Drank beside the 2002. Will be interesting to see how the magnum of this goes in another few years.

May 8, 2019 - Extremely nice, close to peak, probably fine for a few more years, hard to tell. Hints of mushroom, forest floor and red fruit on the nose. Bright cherry, good acid and good body on the palate. Medium finish with more mushroom, slight hint of oak? Overall, everything is balanced and fits together. light to medium body but holds up very well with food.
