Community Tasting Notes 3

  • herzog330 Likes this wine: 91 points

May 25, 2020 - Has aged well and not too strong on the oak or tannins. Love these wines with some age on them.

May 26, 2019 - Dark fruit and forest floor mixture. For a 2011 Cab, this was right on the edge of drinkability. Not as full bodied as many other 50 ton Cabs we have enjoyed from Medlock Ames

  • Woodford Likes this wine: 90 points

    January 7, 2015 - At the open
Smells like Jammy dark fruits, chocolate, earth, game, and black pepper. Tastes like pine resin, vanilla, pecans, & oak. It later evolved to show smoke & complex dark fruit. Lots of tannins & acid. A long lingering aftertaste. Full bodied.
