Community Tasting Notes 3

August 3, 2022 - 17.5% alcohol!? Hot nose, pepper, berry compote, lavender. Big in mouth, decent acids, huge red fruit, red licorice. Well made but just overwhelming.

May 9, 2021 - Two hour slow ox. Very deep magenta garnet color. Black cherry, craisin, and red bell pepper on the nose, along with subtle brisket bark and black pepper. Smooth, dry, peppery palate, with nice acidity. Full tannins on the longish finish.
