November 16, 2014 - Cornerstone does not reveal the varietal makeup of this wine, stating "The blend is our secret, the pleasure is all yours!" and I have to agree, this is a fun wine. I'm pretty confident that there is some Gewürztraminer in the blend, which gives this a floral, tropical, spicy essence. A touch of sweetness makes this a great pairing with Asian food in particular. November 5, 2014 - Mixed Blinds (My Place - Washington, DC): Clear light gold color. Nose is bright and fresh, with sea salt and flowers, mixed with guava, papaya and a lime-drenched margarita with salt, some Muscat-like orange blossom and honeycomb. Moderate acid, creamy body, lots of fruit-forward, easy-sipping personality. White peach, guava, lychee and pineapple mix with notes of honeysuckle, dandelions, sea salt and some light nutty elements. Not the most complex wine, but fun stuff. Chardonnay, Viognier and Muscat Canelli.
