Pretty red berry fruits wet spice, plenty of alcohol warmth, feels very ripe despite that red berry fruit. Medium plus acidity married to alcohol warmth, red hued fruits again, chewy chalky tannins are quite coarse and clumsy. The juxtaposition of the red fruits and the alcohol is very confusing and certainly stumped me" -

December 29, 2023 - No cork issues like the last bottle. The nose is classic folly. But it’s a bit lean to taste, albeit the profile is also pretty classic. Still enjoyable, but missing some of the usual depth and complexity of good vintages. Will give the last 2x bottles another 4-5 and see if it puts on some weight.
