September 29, 2015 - This Syrah was destined for restaurant only sales, but due to the sellout of the usually well-priced Creekside Syrah they needed something on the shelf to take its place as a stop-gap until the '13 is ready. The nose screams black pepper while the flavours are delving into the realm of cassis and spiced raspberry; but what really sticks out here is that massive dose of black pepper ... I think with time the fruit should emerge to round this one out nicely.

September 16, 2015 - Great pnp wine. Full of pepper and currents to taste. Very much in the northern Rhone style. Think that this is Creeksides production in off years where their signature Broken Press is not produced.
