May 28, 2018 - Did not take detailed notes however what sticks out was cherry, quite fruit forward, vanilla, a touch of spice, medium acidity. Good mouthfeel. Tannins were velvety. Opened up over an 3 hours. Finish had a medium(+) length and was very enjoyable.

November 24, 2017 - A bit on the sweet side. Very nice mouth feel, but let's see what happens in a year or so for the next bottle.

November 27, 2016 - Very approachable now, but I would be inclined to wait a year or two to open my next one. This producer is concocting some very pleasurable wines.

    December 17, 2014 - PNP notes.

I agree with the sentiments written by Rstar4 on this Pinot. This is a solid 91 pt. wine with plenty of potential after some cellaring (easily 93 pts.). I would add some Oregon bramble notes to the nose on this wine. It's got a great texture and wonderful smooth finish that coats the palate.

If you're looking for a Pinot that fits beautifully between a Burgundian and California Pinot I highly recommend this wine. I will be coming back for more.

November 28, 2014 - A very balanced wine, with dark cherry notes, hints of chocolate, minerals and spice. Medium body and a "just right" tannic backbone puts this somewhere between the lighter California-style and more hearty Burgundian style Pinots. Served with Thanksgiving turkey and it was marvelous. No need to decant, as it opened right up in the glass. A surprisingly long after and left me and my family wanting more.

Of the past 3 vintages, this one may be the most well-structured for some cellar aging. Winemaker is really starting to hit a stride in delivering truly expressive wines unique to this region. I particularly appreciate how each vintage is held for an extra year at the winery before release. The TLC given to these wines shows.
