January 22, 2023 - This is on fire right out of the gate! Beautiful, full mouth-feel, full of secondary fruits, and great length/balance /acid

April 2, 2022 - What a pleasant surprise. Decanted for 2.5hrs. Medium garnet color. Medium+ aroma intensity, with aromas of cherry, raspberry and cola jumping out along with secondary aromas of clove and oak. Tertiary aroma note include mushroom and forest floor. On the palate, medium body with medium+ acid. Medium tannins that are very smooth and well integrated after 10 yrs. Flavors similar with aromas - with a nice long finish of cherry, cola and earth. For the price, this wine is really a great find.

September 26, 2020 - Sweet cherry fruit, spice, untoasted oak (reminiscent of walking into a barrel room - which I mean in a positive way). Fruit is somewhat ripe, but considering the alcohol at 14.3% it's not hot (but it is noticeable). Has the acid and tannins to go several more years, but chose to drink this last bottle now since I was afraid the alcohol might overwhelm the other elements if I sat on it for a few more years. But I was wrong and think it has the right balance to go several more years. Still great wine, but somewhat boozy.
