February 28, 2017 - Lots of cherry but, as in the previous outing, ultimately not completely satisfying. It's good, it's workmanlike, it's just not complex or terribly interesting.

February 10, 2016 - I really like Dutch Henry wines, and I want to love this wine, but I feel a little let down. It's a lovely, balanced, pleasant wine -- but I want it to be more than that. Plenty of body, good structure, moderate fruit. It's just not wonderful.

July 3, 2015 - Dutch Henry Tasting (Calistoga, CA): On the nose black fruit and cassis, big round tannins and complexity with mid+ acidic. Sweet and supple, mid+ finish.

April 19, 2015 - Drank upon opening; no decant. Nice right out of the bottle with a NY strip steak. Good body and a smooth finish. Maybe a little heavy on the fruit for my taste, but generally well balanced.
