December 25, 2022 - Needs an hour+ of air. Crisp cherry, spices, light earth, green herbs, some menthol. Nicely layered.

August 28, 2021 - Unmistakable Temperance Hill terroir, impressive range and depth. On the downside, bitterness, of the greenish sort, shows at the back and on the finish.

February 20, 2018 - A very unique note of parsley on the nose followed by peat moss, green tobacco leaf, green forest floor, spices and great acids.

February 17, 2018 - Concentrated, dense and backwards, and featuring the green tobacco and peat moss typical of this exceptional vineyard. Arguably my preferred terroir in all of the Willamette Valley. This needs many years. 93-94.

October 21, 2015 - Odd nail polish aromas greet you and are a bit hard to get by. Results in a 13% alcohol wine that seems alcoholic. Lighter raspberry and strawberry mingle with the menthol/nail polish. Medium finish.
