  December 6, 2023 - Really caught off guard by this wine. No memory of it. Wonderful in the glass but cloaked in mystery as to origin.

  October 5, 2023 - Really good again. Lots of fruit, lots of acidity, good Zin character. In a great spot now. Enjoyed this with roast chicken, scalloped potatoes, and string beans.

  So much to like about this. It seems to be in a great spot right now, with everything in balance and harmony. Good focus and depth of fruit, silky mouthfeel, good Zin character, no heat, not jammy, and intriguing earthy note. One of the best Zins I've ever tasted.

  February 24, 2023 - I was a bit underwhelmed by this bottle after having a fantastic '09 Bedrock T-block syrah a few nights ago. A bit monolithic, and didn't really develop much in the way of flavor nuances. Loads of blueberry and blackberry fruit, some dusty earth and tar notes, mixed in with a bit of baking spice. Just didn't do it for me, or maybe I wasn't in the mood for this style. But I didn't enjoy it any more on nights 2 or 3.

  February 19, 2023 - Elegant and tasty — a zin in its prime! Too bad I’ll never see a bottle of this ever again — 200 cases made, one vintage only.
