January 15, 2020 - Different bottle, 2 months more age and I have a very different response to the wine from my last posting. This wine still has plenty of life in it and should be good for at least 4 or 5 more years. Very soft but well-defined tannins in a fruity-earthy mix that made it a joy to drink both before dinner and with dinner. Like all of the 2013 vintage Pinot Noirs from the Willamette Valley, this was a relatively light wine that will go best with lighter meals - we had it with a turkey broth soup with chunks of chicken and veggies, which worked perfectly.

November 4, 2019 - Really good although I think it’s pretty much at its peak. May be good for another few years but won’t likely get much better. Some really delicious, interesting spice notes under the predominant berry flavors - flavorful-spicy, not peppery or zingy.

April 7, 2019 - pretty flavors of red berries with nice subtle minerality, but too light to be serious, not worth $40

January 6, 2019 - 45 min decant. Bright rose with slightly rusty rim. Roasted pineapple, strawberry, red cherry, minerality and subtle cinnamon and white flowers on the nose. Super smooth, dry palate with soft, but very present, acidity. There’s some citrus rind on the mid-palate. Subtle tannic structure, but medium long finish nonetheless.

Well made ‘13 Pinots from the Willamette Valley are peaking right now, in my opinion. Drink up....
