January 29, 2024 - Fantastic wine. Drinking very well at this point. Still with years to go.

May 14, 2022 - Wow! What four years of extra age can do for a wine. 90 minute decant and drank over two hours. A remarkably vibrant taste from start to finish. Dark fruit, wood and rock notes, with spice box wrapped around a vibrant, but not sharp or drying tannin. Long taste on the tongue. Many bottles begin to lose their vibrancy after several hours of drinking, but not this one. This wine is in a great drinking window. My guess would be that it will remain in this space for the next 3-5 years.

October 24, 2020 - Nose: Covid but getting a little bit of mint and dark fruit.
Taste: charcoal, dark fruit, smooth long finish with a hint of fruit.

October 13, 2020 - This wine seems to be shutting down a bit. Had it opened for five hours but it did not really reveal anything until about 8 hours in. By then, it was showing not only the density and rather monothic power of this wine. but also a nice level of complexity, balance, hinting at so much more. Tasted in a lineup with 2009 Maybach Amoenus, 2012 Memento Mori, 2012 Brand, 2012 Continuum, 2014 Alpha Omega Beckstoffer Dr. Crane and 2014 Alejandro Bulgheroni and it was abou mid tier in this group.
