February 8, 2019 - As usual with Py - SUPER dark red color. A lot of leather and tobacco. Try it if you find it. It is worth the 120$ paid. But I think it might smooth a little more with another 3-5 years of aging

February 7, 2017 - Dense and meaty with moderately mature black cherry and berry, well supported with earth and roast meat notes. Very good weight for its level, with Dugat-Py's trademark concentration, but also showing wonderful balance. At a great place now.

May 2, 2015 - Dark rich ripe dark cherry. Bramble dry cherry bit rustic, nice jammy edge.A bit disjointed, but offers pleasure.

December 12, 2013 - Had at Aria; deep dark red, still youthful looking; the nose was blowing right out of the bottle, deep, exotic, funky, earthy, still a great mix of darker red fruit, plush, peppery, almost Northern Rhone like, 92+ point nose for sure; the palate was a different story completely, at first rich and plush but then the wine just dropped off, hollow mid and little on the finish probably due to the vintage.

August 25, 2013 - Served with an excellent 91 DRC, which did not do it a disservice despite the oak which, though evident, is successfully integrating into the wine. Nicely middle aged with youthful fruit showing some secondary development and a bright future ahead. Resonates well in the shadow of the older wine. From John and Annabelle's Cellar.
