September 4, 2021 - Drank with friend with dinner who likes big reds. This wine certainly qualified. It didn't impress me as much as I thought, given my high rating previously.

May 25, 2020 - Last bottle in my little stash. I have been drinking over the last 3-years. I would say it was awesome, but depending on your flavor profile it may be past it’s peak. Fruit was less present than last year and the year before. However, it was really well balanced, smooth out of the bottle. I liked it more after about 3-hours of decanting. It was smooth all along, but the fruit seemed more expressive after decanting.

If I found another bottle, I would buy it and drink right away, I would not hold any longer unless it was an experiment.

September 17, 2018 - I was delighted with the full bodied balance and strong fruit without being over bearing. Definitely a wine with food and it paired exceptionally well with a great steak.

I think it will get better in 2-3 years, unfortunately I only have one bottle left.

June 30, 2015 - Definitely benefits from decanting, but deliciously complex eiter way.

March 16, 2015 - Surprising turnaround from the previous bottle I had back in November. Smooth and subtle but well rounded and complete. Good wine. Previous one must have been an off bottle. Glad I tried it again.
