  September 18, 2016 - The Lamole di Lamole 2011 Chianti Classico is an apt example of terroir's profound influence. This wine stems from an exceptionally warm vintage, yet maintains fresh fruit characteristics and appears to have avoided over-ripeness given Lamole's high altitude vineyards. Black cherry, plum, spices and earth emanate from the glass, and the wine shows great energy on the palate via generous acidity. Drink now.

  February 15, 2015 - Nice everyday drinking wine. Good black and red fruit. A little chocolate and leather. Tannins are relatively smooth and not over powering (definitely smoother the second day). I didn't get any earthiness or minerality.
  Nothing out of this world but smooth and enjoyable.
