March 17, 2015 - A little bigger and spicier than I like my Viogniers- but nevertheless, a great wine, especially for under $25.00. I'd like to think that this compares with some great Condrieu- but its been a while since I have had any...

The nose is full of peach, honeysuckle, and pear. The wine is slightly cloudy- something that I noticed at time of purchase, which made me somewhat leery. Taste is honey, oxidized white peach pulp, honey, and nutmeg.

Overall, I was very impressed with this wine (maybe more so because of the cloudy bottle). I can't wait to pick up more.

December 20, 2014 - I poured this blind. Not readily identifiable as Viognier to most, though one person got it. The most skilled taster guessed Grenache Blanc, which I thought was a great guess.

Anyway, this was excellent and very well received. Great acid and mineral core. Restrained, but lots of interest. Less ripe in character, with even a touch of green fruit n the mix. Highly recommended. 91+
