Very smoky and charcoal nose, very gamy as well, strong smells
palate is very thin and juicy, evolution and tertiaries are showing quite much now, and the wine is quite light in the style.

February 20, 2022 - Blackberry, sweet fruit smell, floral. Tart and just about medium bodied. Cool and fresh, some fine tannin but beginning to mature. Lovely.

November 6, 2021 - No note taken. Light-medium bodied. Fresh. Red fruit, black fruits, meat, and light dusty tannins. Clean. Moderate complexity/finish. 91-93.

April 7, 2021 - The two notes immediately below describe this well. We will add: medium ruby, with a hint of blue. Dramatic white ground pepper. Elegant and savory. Suggestions of roasted meat. Fabulously refined and precise on opening; it was a bit muted on the second night, then revived somewhat on the third and last. Overall, very enjoyable, and we will hold our remaining bottle a few years.
