January 20, 2021 - Strange opaque black color, even at the rim. Almost like dye was added. Nose and palate had some rich fruit but there is no acidity or tannins to give structure. This was well past it's prime with off flavors. Could only manage half a glass before pouring it out.

April 2, 2020 - I absolutely love this wine. It is one of my favorites. I even waited longer than recommended to consume it, and it was fantastically delicious, bursting forward with hints of blackberry, caramel, roasted coffee, and toasted oak. It's full-bodied and oh so smooth.
