January 12, 2016 - 66 Bordeaux dinner (Ripple Restaurant in DC): I brought this as it was the last wine that I purchased from Premier Cru. I believe the winemaker is a friend of Raphaël Coche Dury. Some calls the wines “baby coche”. Pop and pour, Coche like match stick/flint and very ripe 2012 fruit. Sweet opulent fruit, good concentration but not as linear and precise as Coche village. There is almost Cali Chardonnay like expression of ripe tropical fruit, I would love to try a premier cru from the 13 or 14 vintage.
