  June 25, 2020 - Elegant, smooth and well rounded. Amazingly surprised. Had the 2016 the night before and wasn’t impressed. Decided to do a vertical tonight. Exhibits Blackberries, cherries, raisins, vanilla and...porto like aromas. That is fruit forward with velvety tannins. The way I love high end Napa at a reasonable price. This is at its peak right now. Reminds me a good left bank!! 94% cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Petit Verdot, 3% Malbec. Seem less finish. Wish I had kept the 2016 for later! NI:4, FI:23, FC:9, B:4, L:3

  May 1, 2020 - Big, but nicely balanced. True varietal character, and a good example of Napa Valley fruit. Drinking great at this stage.

  July 21, 2019 - 60m slow ox. Oaky nose, cherry on the palate. Tannins are resolving, still just the hint of a pucker on the medium finish. Drinking well but no rush.

  June 25, 2019 - Drank over two nights. Nice bottle, but I think I waited just a bit too long. Nice resolved tannins, but threw off a little bottle age / earthiness on day 2. Threw off a ton of sediment. Good price, good value.
