  December 25, 2015 - Deep purple colored wine with over-ripened fruit flavors of plum, and prune, (mostly prune). Borders on a fruit bomb but then quickly dissipates revealing a thinness in depth and a lack of any earthy backbone. This hits you hard with upfront fruit but leaves you thinking it is an $ 8.00 wine. Oh wait my brother-in law said he paid $ 7.87 so there is a value proposition here. At best C- grade

  2012 was better than other vintages
