July 9, 2016 - Very good German Riesling. It has solid fruit and good balance but it does have that tart biting mid mouth bite that still has not mellowed. it had a touch the typical diesel taste and a nice tart long finish. This one also has just a bit too much sweetness for my preference...at 10% alcohol it shows some nice ripe grapes were used. It still has not totally come together --give it up to another 7 years for best drinking.
