March 15, 2017 - This was awesome. Amazing and alive. Vibrant acidity and tannins. Dust, candied red fruit, tobacco, herbs, dried cherries. Amazing that a 29 year old 'okay' producer can taste and smell like this. Cork broke in half but the top was dry and I hear the air when I pulled it out.

December 4, 2007 - Opened not decanted. Some funk on the nose; subdued at first; opens up to reveal dried raisins, dried apricots, dried plums and dried cherries; lots of perfumed flowers with a dry slightly tannic finish. The fruit is disappearing, but it was surprisingly still alive. Good but past it's prime.
