  October 31, 2018 - Bought from the secondary market. Very hard to score and here's why: it was recommended that we only decant this an hour. However, even after 90 minutes had passed it was clearly way too young. Vacuumed, fridged and taken out the next night, its nose was outstanding and its initial sips likewise -- but then the taste just collapsed. A really weird bottle. I could tell with every sip that its components were outstanding, but something was just preventing them from all coming out and playing together nicely. By the end of the night, it was flat and acidic. BUT THEN on Day Four (!) it started to come together. Some vanilla at the finish, but also a long, smooth mouthfeel, the suggestion that there is much further to develop. I have no idea what to make of this, but am curious what happens for other folks.

  September 20, 2016 - A wonderful, balanced, exotic, harmonious wine. Never too big, never too thin, but constantly revealing new layers while maintaining lushness and a long finish. Worth the money? Probably. Either way, it was excellent.
