October 13, 2008 - Big nose, with ripe pineapple, among other tropical fruits, and some heat. Ripe and syrupy, it is heavy and viscous, but also acidic. Pineapple, apple sauce, lychee flavors have a faint cidery edge. Lively and edgy, with the only the slightest sense of fading. It was better two years ago, where there wasn't the slightest hint of cider, and the acidty was rancorous.
