Community Tasting Notes 1

November 20, 2016 - Notes on Day 4. On day 1, fruit was slightly tart, not round and full. A nice wine, but 87 was all I could muster. At this point, though, it’s a VERY nice sipper! PLENTY of blueberry on the nose, along with a little eucalyptus/menthol. Really nice. Then on the palate, mouth-filling, Barossa-esque blueberry, great structure, still some tannins. This is a mouth-coating wine with a little dustiness to it; full-bodied, and great length on the finish of at least 30-45 seconds. I recall this being fairly inexpensive if I’m not mistaken (under $16) and, if so, I should’ve bought at least 6. 91+ pts.
