July 20, 2019 - Consistent with past tasting. Very tart and crunchy with cloves and blackberries. Hold for another year or two and drink through 2026. Technical score: 89. Enjoyment score: 88.

June 26, 2018 - Peculiar wine. It was accessible upon opening with good fruit and texture delineation, but then it proceeded to shut down over the next few hours. Cloudy, murky purple-ruby. The nose brings violets, cherry bitters, orange peel, and white pepper. The palate is medium-light, rustic, chewy, and savory, bringing red cherries, strawberries, blackberry cobbler, roasted peppers, and cinnamon/clove notes into the finish. Seems shut down and in an awkward phase. Has firm tannins so drink 2020+. Technical score: 89. Enjoyment score: 88.

December 14, 2017 - Hazy pale ruby. This was more like a chinon than a beaujo to me. Funky herbaceousness, earthy, red fruits. Nice structure and good with charcuterie and cheese. Not what i was expected but pretty good (although may have been an off bottle).

April 22, 2017 - Cherries and strawberries, along with white pepper on the nose. There's some earth and pepper notes that complement the fruit on the palate, but not as much as I like from a Beaujolais. Nice, juicy acidity. Good, but lacks the depth to earn a few more points.
