April 14, 2023 - This was bang on. I love Ampeau's total old-school style. Lovely cork, no soak, and really great fill. colour was great, totally a crowd pleaser with balanced acidity. This still had some red elements, but it was a nice mature drink. Great secondary/tertiary flavors.

November 14, 2022 - Somewhat confounding and what used to drive people crazy about burgundy. This wine is clearly not over the bill, but the aromas and all deep autumnal. Florets floor, mushrooms, Fruitcake dominate a cranberry undercurrent. There is still acidity and sweetness present, which tells me that this wine is in that state of confusion that only Pinot can offer.
