January 4, 2023 - Enjoyed this bottle with Osso Buco - decanted for an hour in the glasses before eating. Great deep ruby color with strong oak and dark berry nasal, medium legs. This was a complex and fully-developed wine that should be drinking wonderfully for the next 5 years. Feels very old world with medium sweetness and good acidity. Rich velvety tannins and oak with full body, strong "bite" with a long finish.

December 26, 2022 - Deep red color. Full bodied with tastes of fresh berries, cherry and blackberry. Eminently drinkable now and good for another couple of years.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are medium. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like blackberry and raspberry. -
