November 4, 2018 - Very good. Really rich sweet nose, very hard to describe, raisins, toast, candied fruit. Sip gives fruit, fresh acidity, then a wave of raisin, coffee, toffee, and some tannins gradually drying out the mouth. The finish lasts for a long time, you'll taste this ten, twenty minutes after your last sip. There's more caramel / toffee elements in this VdN than some others I've had. Quite a bit more intense than 1965 La Cuvee des Aigles.

October 15, 2018 - Cola coloured, lovely deep aromas of ground coffee beans, creme brulee, orange peel and plums. Better a few days after opening. A strong VdN.

October 21, 2017 - This is gorgeous. Amber with yellow highlights. Nose is fabulous, with sherry and port-like scents of grilled nuts, especially almonds, really awesome. In the mouth this is incredibly rich, unctuous, and every adjective you can think of. What a wine! This is my first Rivesaltes, and now I understand what all the hype is about. This has to be the very best value in aged wine in the marketplace today. Again, WOW! 5-14-18-9: 96/100.

September 13, 2015 - 2 bottles consumed at diamond wedding celebration were spectactular. What a great buy. These were pale reddish orange with strong acidity, great sweetness to balance and fantastically long. Everybody loved them.
