November 20, 2022 - loads of terroir and backward dark fruit.

February 9, 2022 - Quintessentially Tensley, dark purple, almost chewy, their typical flavor profile.

January 28, 2022 - Decanted for 1.5 hours. The stain on he bottom of this cork was nearly black! This is a dark and intense wine. I last tasted tis vintage in October of 2019. It was good then, it is even better now! The new element we had not experienced previously was a sense of a cardamom-like flavor early on in the bottle. All the other components were still there from 2019, but with greater depth and a more mellowed finish. Excellent!

March 4, 2021 - Noir is a fitting name for this deep, dark beast. Almost opaque ruby in color, the nose jumps out of the glass, presenting baking spices, plumb reduction, and candied bacon. Waves of black fruit, cassis, crushed rock, and fig sauce surf on the palette through a long finish. Drink now.

February 8, 2021 - Poured thru venturi. Loads of backward fruit and terroir - layered and resolved tannins - not overly fruit extracted like some Tensley's - a beuaty ready to go. "Noir" is a fitting name
