  September 3, 2020 - In the glass, it's obvious that it's not your typical pinot ... much darker ... almost a lighter zin color ... fruit profile a little muted on the nose and palate making me think maybe I waited a little too long before opening ... waiting for a really special time, but then, any time is a special time while we're here. Cherry cola and strawberries on the nose and palate ... just waited too long for the price I paid ... my bad!

  March 4, 2016 - Beautiful wine, much richer than most pino noirs. Dark, Bing Cherry, rich nose, and long finish.

  March 31, 2015 - As good as it was at the winery. Very dark magenta, and nearly opaque excellent viscosity with great legs. Nose on this is fabulous and jumps right out of the glass. Crushed roses, spice notes, and a hint of cola. Medium body but drinks bigger. Sleek and polished texture, richly fruited. Long finish. Could use a bit more fullness and richness, but that would push it to the fat side, too, so just a quibble. Overall,mits a beauty. 4-13-16-8: 91/100.
