February 20, 2024 - #3 of 4 (I'd gone thru a case that I bought on release). This has reached a great climax, for my palate, anyway. Fresh, elegant with vg sense of grape and place. The days of $25 are long, long gone, sadly. So much class here. highly recommended

May 2, 2023 - Delicious from start to finish. Consistent with my prior notes. This one is a stunning achievement for Santorini assyrtiko. I wish I had more to age and follow

January 10, 2023 - Medium amber, color; grapefruit, and white blossom nose.
Plenty of fruit remains presents, which is quite a feat for an eight year old assyrtiko. Citrus notes of lime and grapefruit. Plenty of stone fruit minerality. A touch of salinity undergirds the entire package. This has evolved in a very impressive manner.

February 16, 2022 - Somewhat dry cork - the top breaking off. Medium gold colour. On the nose, aromas of lemons, Santorini minerals, touch of NPR and petroleum jelly. On the palate, the attack is frank, fruity with the citrus aromas, a strong mineral component I associate with pretty much all of the good Santorini Assyrtiko, and a still fairly good acidity carrying over to the long, slightly bitter and salty finish. Still sufficiently fresh, but I think this was likely better two years ago or so. If you have any, you should finish them off. 90-91

I prefer this to the barrel version which takes away the purity of the aromas found in Assyrtiko on Santorini. Not quite as long lived as the Argyros, but then this is rounder when younger, which is not necessarily a bad thing. I wish the prices on this (and most Santorini Assyrtiko) hadn't shot up so much in the last 7 years.

January 14, 2022 - Popped and poured. We deep yellow straw color, honey/melon nose. Plenty of minerality and stone fruit upfront. Crisp and clean. This one has held up really nicely.
