July 25, 2023 - Another nice bottle of this. Defintiely broader and more yellow fruited than other cuvées from Pépiere. Drink over next 2-3 years

August 29, 2022 - Delicious muscadet with a bit more weight and midpalate than the Briords. In a perfect spot. Nothing better with a steamed lobster in Maine.

June 10, 2021 - The color is very golden, I would never expect to see this color on a Muscadet. The nose is just lovely and very generous: sun-kissed lemony fruit, some bready and yeasty notes and a little bit of herbal action. On the palate it starts off rich, round and mouth-caressingly soft. Very soon it starts to tighten up however, getting narrower and narrower until the arrowhead-like finish. The ripeness masks the dryness somewhat but really this is wonderfully dry and savory with awesome lemony intensity and minerality. It has a texture and volume unlike any other Melon de Bourgogne I’ve had while sacrificing none in terms of drinkability and pleasure. A ridiculous QPR.

    May 5, 2021 - Medium gold color
Medium minus aromas - primarily rocks and dry earth with hints of yellow florals in background - almost devoid of fruit aromas but possibly some unripe pear/ peach
Medium plus body - more fruit here - primarily citrus/ pear and green apple with overlying chalk dust
Medium plus jagged acidity with minimal phenolics and no notable alcohol with great length
Dry glass aromas of cheese rind/ lees
Its all about the palate with this wine - Drink now

May 1, 2021 - Deep golden color, definitely fully mature, but not oxidized like the previous bottle. Surprisingly rich, a little soft. Worked well with seafood of course, but below expectations for what this should be. Is there an issue with aging these extended lees cuvees?
