July 10, 2018 - Less convinced this time. While the nose was nice, with a complex mix of earthiness, tobacco and prune, the palate felt unbalanced, overly rustic, with bitterness on the end. Over-extracted? Good body and length but too bitter for my taste.

March 14, 2015 - Dusty, garnet colour. The bouquet shows interesting flavours of prune, scorched earth, saddle leather, a hint of vanilla. Very slight spritz on the attack. The palate is full-bodied, alcoholic, with a ripe feeling, black fruit, prune, leather, undergrowth. Slightly drying tannins on the finish. The wine took time to open up, about 3 hours. I believe this wine is just emerging and still has a lot of upside potential. Drink now - 2021.
