July 21, 2023 - I used two prong remover, good pop, cork started pushing in but only when the prongs were fully inserted. Day one, it was muted but day two is when the wine emerged with lovely fruit, not quite delicate, but really nicely fruity. Acid walks in step with fruit. In fact such a nice balance that can't say which is the star. There is a menthol and tobacco finish that appears after about ten seconds. Not like other Brunellos I've had. Really a step up from 2020 tasting. The extra time improved this. 94 for me because this is unique. Tannins not aggressive and present at finish. Real kirsch cherry, maybe balaton cherry. I've had this opened and vacuum sealed for almost a week, and it never fell apart or developed skunky flavors. Went very well with food.

June 14, 2020 - Ten years seemed the right time to check this out. Wine consumed over 2-3 day period. First day, nice bouquet, cork stained light purple. Tart, but nice acidity, and fruit was a little more laid back than anticipated. Went extremely well with food, especially pasta. Did not fade after 3 days in bottle. If i recall, threw a little sediment in the last glass. Decent Brunello that should satisfy, not in top tier, but very passable, as wine not aggressive or tannic. Not certain what might still emerge with more aging, so recommend consuming now and aging perhaps 5 more years.

November 23, 2019 - Pop and pour. Cellared at 55f since release. Agree with other review that wine is still tight, tannins quite present but fruit strong. Hold for at least a year or two, or consider time decanting. This wine has more to offer than we experienced tonight. Strong potential.
