February 23, 2023 - Coravin fun - Piedmont (My place, Kent Street): Slight oak, caramel, sweet spice, initially the a touch of meaty Bovril notes underpin, slight plum, touch of slight fruit tea. Ooof. Juicy tends to medium plus intensity acidity, plenty of drying tannins, the meaty notes persist with the fruit, not showing any age really. Hmm.

November 13, 2021 - I read the reviews of this wine before opening it last night and they are all more or less aligned with my experience for the first hour. After a 1-1.5 hours they are not. The wine ended up showing beautiful (and rather powerful) fruit, structure, and balance. It drank as well as the best Barolo normale I've had, but with an interesting and new-for-me flavor profile. And, thankfully, without a trace of oak. It is now open for business and selling lots of hotcakes.

Mursteinsrød med rubinrød kjerne og vandig kant.
Skikkelig insmigrende nese med fioler, moreller, trøfler, markjordbær og tobakk.
Moreller, jordbær, underskog og tobakk i munn. Mineralsk avslutning. Krystallklart aromabilde, fantastisk balanse. Mangler lengde.
Drikker mye bedre nå enn i juni 17, mere åpen og bedre konsentrasjon. Bra fra åpning, best etter ca 4 timer i karaffel. 92 i drikkeglede og 89 i kvalitet.
